It's a yucky, rainy day here in Eastern NC, but the leaves are sure pretty. And we've got the lights on at the Wine & Words stores. Stop by Wine & Words...& Gourmet in Washington and get a cup of Counter Culture coffee and a Back Bay Cafe sandwich, browse the growing selection of books and CD's, and generally take shelter from the storm. If you're in Belhaven, come by Back Bay Cafe, where the Maple Sweet Potato Soup is just the ticket on a day like this. You'll probably meet some ICW transiters who are hunkering down before continuing south. And you'll see how international we've become.
